Will Coronavirus Stimulus Money go to Debt Collectors?
Legal advisers have stated the stimulus money isn't off-limits to debt collectors. Especially those who have their bank accounts garnished. There have been numerous State Attorney General offices that have requested the Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin to ensure creditors and debt collectors cannot touch the stimulus money.
